About this webinar

What if your next enrollment doesn't come from a Facebook ad, a new website, or another marketing campaign? What if it comes from someone who already knows your name, trusts your expertise, and recommends your program?

In this fresh take on Butts in the Seats, Kate Woodward Young and Carrie Casey explore the power of hyperlocal marketing—becoming known, trusted, and remembered in the community your child care program serves.

Discover why some of your most valuable marketing opportunities may happen at the grocery store, through local business partnerships, at community events, or by sharing your expertise in ways that establish you as a trusted resource.

You'll explore how to communicate what makes your program unique in just 30 seconds, build credibility through everyday interactions, and develop community relationships that lead to referrals and future enrollments.

But how do you know if these efforts are working? We'll also examine how to measure the effectiveness of community-based marketing, including activities that don't produce an immediate enrollment, so you can focus your time and resources where they'll have the greatest impact.

Join us for practical strategies to increase your program's local visibility, strengthen community connections, and turn recognition into relationships—and relationships into enrollment.

You don't have to be everywhere. You need to be known where it matters.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this 90-minute webinar, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify hyperlocal marketing opportunities, including community events, local partnerships, and networking activities, that can increase their child care program's visibility and establish it as a trusted community resource.

  2. Differentiate the key elements of an effective 30-second message that communicates a child care program's unique value, and identify strategies for demonstrating expertise through community relationships and activities.

  3. Evaluate the effectiveness of hyperlocal marketing strategies using indicators such as referral sources, inquiries, relationship development, and enrollments to determine which activities contribute to long-term enrollment growth.
