About this webinar

With the arrival of the new federal competition, Race to the Top - Early Learning Challenge, early childhood programs are finally getting a seat at the table in conversations about education reform. This webinar will answer what everyone wants to know: Which states have a shot at winning a grant? What kinds of changes will this program spur? Will the promise of the program -- the inclusion of more disadvantaged children in high-quality programs -- be realized? In this webinar, we'll walk you through:

• how the program works

• provide some informed speculation on which states may be best positioned to win grants

• explain how the Early Learning Challenge may affect what teachers and providers do on a day to day basis in their classrooms

All sessions are 1.5 hours long, and include a brief announcement from our sponsor. 2:oo PM – 3:30 PM Eastern Time.
