Are you a content expert who is often asked to train others on one specific topic? Or are you more of a facilitator who is comfortable talking about a wide range of topics (even though you may not be able to go very deep into any one specific topic)? Would you consider yourself flexible when your learners don’t seem to be picking up on your information as quickly as you’d like them to be? What does being a “results-focused” trainer even mean? Endurance Learning has been working with trainers for years, helping them answer each of these questions. Brian Washburn, co-founder and CEO of Endurance Learning will lead this session in which you will explore two specific tools that will help you grow more self-aware about the kind of trainer you currently are, and the kind of trainer you can become.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to…
- Identify where they fall on the presenter knowledge/ability matrix
- Explore key factors that differentiate a novice trainer from a master facilitator
- Perform a self-assessment to identify strengths and gaps in their current training skillset
- Determine which gaps they feel need to be addressed, and which gaps can be ignored (for now), to be considered a proficient or even a master facilitator
All sessions are 1.5 hours long and include a brief announcement from our sponsor.
2:oo PM – 3:30 PM Eastern Time.
