Social-emotional education is not just for students; it has the potential to change your entire school culture. While social-emotional education has been a longstanding focus in K-12 education, this webinar will turn the lens to the impact of formalized social-emotional education beginning in preschool. Join us as we explore firsthand the effects of social-emotional education on Pre-Kindergarten students' academic achievement, parental perceptions of the school environment, teacher job satisfaction, and behavior management within the school.

This webinar is designed to introduce you to the systematic impact social and emotional education can have in the early learning education classroom. While longstanding research exists on the effects of social and emotional education in elementary school and beyond, few have looked closely at what such programs can do for young learners. This webinar will give examples of how social and emotional education can not only improve the academic environment for students, but how it can also improve the perception of the early childhood classroom and positively alter how parents perceive the overall school culture. Included in this session will be firsthand feedback from teachers and school leaders who have personally experienced the transformation of their classrooms in middle class, professional communities. This session will showcase the efficacy and importance of social and emotional education for all young learners. All sessions are 1.5 hours long, and include a brief announcement from our sponsor. 2:oo PM – 3:30 PM Eastern Time. Can’t participate in our webinars at the appointed time? Never fear!
