With over 15 years of progressive experience in early childhood education, Shelby has held more than 15 key positions across the childcare sector—ranging from front-line educator to regional manager.

She has led large-scale operations, including directing an 8-classroom, two-storey childcare centre, where she implemented policies, navigated COVID-19 emergency childcare, and introduced innovative team-building strategies to foster a strong sense of community and shared decision-making among staff.

As a Regional Support and Manager, Shelby extended her leadership impact to multiple sites across Canada, adapting to diverse community requirements and cultural contexts, while spearheading staff hiring, policy development, and mentorship programs.

Her expertise extends beyond centre management—Shelby has served as a Childcare Software Specialist and Consultant, optimizing operational systems and training teams for efficiency and compliance. Today, she channels her breadth of leadership, operational, and mentoring expertise into dynamic workshop facilitation, helping ECE teams strengthen their practice and leadership capacity.
