About this webinar
The session will focus on strategies to effectively set up interest or learning centers to foster cognitive leaning and engage children in active participation. Specific Outcomes:
1. Effective organization of interest centers, including materials, to encourage cognitive activity
2. Relationship of organization to quality standards
3. Forming partnerships with families to increase understanding of the value of interest centers and ensuring success.
To facilitate the session, Creating Effective Learning Spaces for Cognitive Development, strategies presented will focus on discussion of actual floor plans of learning spaces, and photographs of children engaged in a variety of cognitive activities.
