The information below is provided by The Colorado Department of Early Childhood:
If you are a teacher working only in early childhood (licensed childcare/preschool), you follow the annual CDHS requirements:
To meet the annual clock hour training requirements, all licensed child care providers are required to have three clock hours of training focused on social emotional development and 12 clock hours of training focused on eight competencies:
Child growth and development and learning or courses that aligns with the competency domains of child growth and development
Child observation and assessment
Family and community partnership
Guidance
Health, safety and nutrition
Professional development and leadership
Program planning and development
Teaching practices
