Cara has Bachelor degrees in American Sign Language (ASL) and Linguistics and a Master’s degree in Education. She is the passionate mastermind behind the Collaborative Parenting Methodology™ and Collaborative Classroom Curricula, a birth-to-five, soul and science based framework that empowers toddler parents and educators to turn tantrums into teachable moments. At the onset of the pandemic, Cara realized that the early childhood experience, for parents, children, and teachers, would be uniquely different from any previous generation. She has proudly embraced her role as a thought leader and fierce advocate for the COVID Generation (GEN-C) to recover lost milestones as they enter Kindergarten. Through keynotes, ECE teacher training, and her podcast, Transforming the Toddler Years, she’s teaching how to talk to kids so they develop the 5 executive functioning skills they need to navigate our ever-changing world.
