Bio

Sue Yockelson, Ph.D. and BCBA is Professor emeritus at University of Massachusetts Global, previously  Brandman University in California.  Dr. Yockelson develops curriculum, supervises and teaches in the Early Childhood Special Education, Early Childhood Education, and Special Education programs. She also consults throughout the United States and Canada on the importance of early identification and referral into Early Intervention and Early Childhood special education systems and on family centered practices.   Her professional interests include early identification and referral of young children with special needs, social and emotional development of young children, inclusion in early childhood systems, and personnel preparation.  Scholarly work include publications in Young Exceptional Children (2013); Journal of Intellectual Disability - Diagnosis and Treatment, (2015); and Presentations at the National and International ABAI, DEC, NAEYC and HeadStart conferences.
