Barb O’Neill, Ed.D. helps inclusive preschools, Head Start programs, and early childhood centers transform challenging behavior through her trainings, coaching and consulting practice. Co-editor of the book, Play, Performance, Learning and Development: Exploring the Relationship and author of several articles on inclusion, challenging behavior, play and storytelling, Barb has been published in Young Children, as well as other early childhood journals. She developed the seeds of the techniques she teaches in her own preschool classroom and later researched their effectiveness during her years as a professor. Barb holds an Ed.D. in Early Childhood Education and an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Special Education, both from Teachers College, Columbia University.
