Lori Kowit, M.A.
Lori Kowit, M.A., is an early childhood educator, professional development specialist, consultant, adjunct professor, and published author with more than 30 years of experience in early childhood education. Her career has included roles as a classroom educator, early childhood director, college instructor, curriculum consultant, coach, and professional learning facilitator. Lori currently serves as a Professional Development Specialist for Action for Children, an Early Childhood Consultant for the Jewish Education Center of Cleveland, and the Cleveland ElevatEd Community Coordinator.
Through Kowit Consulting, Lori partners with educators, leaders, schools, and organizations to create customized professional learning, curriculum, coaching, and leadership experiences. Her work is grounded in meaningful relationships, reflective teaching, developmentally appropriate practice, and a deep respect for children as capable, curious learners. Lori is passionate about helping educators slow down, see the classroom through children’s eyes, and recognize how everyday interactions, environments, and decisions influence children’s learning and sense of belonging.
