Christa Haring

Christa Haring Ph.D., CCC-SLP has served as a practitioner and researcher in the field of education for more than twenty years. For the past thirteen years, she has spent most of her time collaborating on federally funded grants measuring the impact of coaching on outcomes for educators, home visitors, and families. As the previous National Director of Education and Research for HIPPY USA, she oversaw the professional development and supported staff for more than 120 home visiting programs across the country. As a mother who benefited from home visiting herself, Christa believes strongly in programs that support children and families and the potential these programs have for strengthening communities. Currently, Christa works for Virginia Literacy Partnerships where she oversees and supports the state’s literacy coaches.
