Amy Koester

Amy Koester is a Children's Librarian with the St. Charles City-County Library District in Missouri. She offers regular STEAM programs for the preschool and school-age children who visit her library, and she also takes STEAM story-times to local ECE centers. Amy believes in making STEAM resources available to anyone interested in using them. She curates these resources and documents her STEAM explorations on her own blog, The Show Me Librarian, for the ALSC (Association for Library Service to Children) Blog, and for School Library Journal. Amy served on the 2014 Newbery Committee.
