We are all very eager to get back to "normal" and see the COVID-19 pandemic in the rear view mirror, but none of us knows when that will be. Today we announced a new webinar, Beyond COVID 19: Preparing Now to Support Preschool Children to Reintegrate to the Classroom, by Barbara Kaiser , and almost immediately received hundreds of emails asking us to present it sooner. We listened, and changed the date to the earliest possible date, June 11, 2020.
While we are all aching for paychecks, hugs from children, and a sense of normalcy, it's important for all of us to be patient. If we open centers and other businesses too early, it's very likely the entire country will be right where this all started-- at risk, sick, or even worse, dying.
