Children spend a significant time in child care settings. Early care and education programs should be safe and healthy and provide a learning environment free from exposures to lead, pesticides, plastics, harsh cleaning products and other hazards.

EHCC is a national program that seeks to improve the environmental health of children by partnering with child care professionals to eliminate or reduce environmental health hazards found in child care facilities.
