Early Childhood Investigations Webinars is an ongoing series of free webinars for the early education community. Early Childhood Investigations Webinars (“Early Childhood Investigations Webinars”, “ECIW” or the “Site”) is owned and operated by Engagement Strategies, LLC., and is sponsored by companies and organizations that sell products to or offer services to early childhood education programs or educators. The webinars are presented by Internationally renowned experts.
This agreement describes the terms under which you (the “User”) may access and use Early Childhood Investigations Webinars and the services associated with the site. By using our site, registering for any of the webinars offered by Early Childhood Investigations Webinars, or accessing the recordings, archives, or other materials on our site you signify that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by this User Agreement and our Privacy Policy.
User Eligibility
Professionals involved in early education or individuals with an interest in early education are eligible to use Early Childhood Investigations Webinars’ site and/or participate in the webinars. A professional involved in education includes any individual who is employed by an organization that is involved in education including an educational institution, a library, a non-profit organization, a research organization, a company, an association, a government agency or organization. An individual with an interest in education includes any individual who is a community leader, a parent, a retired educator, an education consultant, a student teacher or intern, a student in a teacher education program, a private teacher, or a tutor. Anyone 18 years of age or older, may use the site. Anyone under 18 is not allowed to join Early Childhood Investigations Webinars or log into any of our live webinars on their own. Early Childhood Investigations Webinars is not responsible if an individual joins the site who is not eligible. Membership in Early Childhood Investigations Webinars is void where prohibited.
Terms of Conduct
As a site visitor or participants in the webinars offered by Early Childhood Investigations Webinars, you agree to participate in a professional and constructive manner and post comments and information that are relevant to in the questions pane or chat function during webinars.
- If you join a webinar:
- You agree not to make posts in the community that could be interpreted as solicitations or promotional offers.
- You agree not to post invitations to webinars, events, surveys, research projects, pilot programs, and other similar activities during webinars without the permission of ECIW, the sponsoring organization, or the presenter.
- Early Childhood Investigations Webinars reserves the right to remove any post that we determine is not in accordance with this User Agreement, dismiss you from any session in which you abuse these terms or if requested by another participant who suspects abuse, and/or block you from attending future webinars.
- You agree that you will not use the search functionality of Early Childhood Investigations Webinars for the purpose of identifying and directly soliciting presenters who are not already a personal contact/friend.
You agree that you will not engage in any activities related to your use of Early Childhood Investigations Webinars to:
- Forge headers or manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any communication transmitted through Early Childhood Investigations Webinars, including Certificates of Attendance, or other materials distributed on the site.
- Use automated scripts or any information gathering process to collect any information from the site or any webinar.
- Use Early Childhood Investigations Webinars in any way that could damage, impair, or interfere with the operation of the site.
- Use information, content or any data you view on and/or obtain from Early Childhood Investigations Webinars to provide any service that is competitive with ECIW, the presenter, or sponsor.
- Attempt to or actually override any security component included in or underlying Early Childhood Investigations Webinars.

Personal Use
Early Childhood Investigations Webinars grants you permission to access and use Early Childhood Investigations Webinars and is free for all individuals who are eligible to join.

Your permission to use the site does not include permission for any resale or commercial use of the contents of the site. You may not use Early Childhood Investigations Webinars for any data mining, information gathering, data compilation, or related purpose. By using the site, you warrant that you will not use the site or its contents for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by this User’s Agreement.
Organizational Use
There is no charge for any individual, school, college, or state-level or local non-profit organizations that would like to use Early Childhood Investigations Webinars or attend webinars, unless clearly specified.
ECIW charges sponsorship fees for other organizations and for-profit companies involved in early education, such as national associations, non-profits, and companies, to promote their products and services during webinars, on our site and in our email messages to you.

Registration
You agree to register for Early Childhood Investigations Webinars as an individual, not an institution, using your real name and accurate information about yourself. You agree not to impersonate any other person or to misrepresent your affiliations and job responsibilities. If we have reasonable grounds to suspect that your information is untrue or inaccurate, we may suspend or terminate accessibility to the webinars and services. You agree to allow Early Childhood Investigations Webinars to update your email address if Early Childhood Investigations Webinars receives a change of email notice from you.
User Content
Early Childhood Investigations Webinars does not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of any content on the site or in the webinar. You are responsible for all content (“content”) that you upload, post, or transmit during the webinars. You are responsible for the copyright, accuracy, appropriateness, and legality of the content you provide or transmit via Early Childhood Investigations Webinars. “Content” includes any posts, text, documents, files, messages, images, audio and video files, and any other information you provide during webinars.
Early Childhood Investigations Webinars is not responsible for issuing Certificates of Attendance or other materials. You are responsible for accessing and keeping your own copies of any information you have downloaded from our sites or external links.
Intellectual Property Rights
Attendees of Early Childhood Investigations Webinars sessions must respect and follow all laws regarding intellectual property. We prohibit users from abusing the copyrights on any materials posted on our sites or made available during webinars. Termination
Early Childhood Investigations Webinars has the right to terminate your access without prior notice if there is any reason to suspect you are not in compliance with the User Agreement or our Privacy Policy. Early Childhood Investigations Webinars has the right to refused access to our webinars if your email address has been determined to be invalid, if you request that we delete your email address, and in response to a request by law enforcement or other government agencies. Early Childhood Investigations Webinars shall not be liable either to you or any third-party for any termination of your access to Early Childhood Investigations Webinars.
Third Party Services and Offers
In connection with your use of Early Childhood Investigations Webinars, you may take advantage of third party offers, services, or products offered on Early Childhood Investigations Webinars. Third party offers may include offers by sponsors or presenters on Early Childhood Investigations Webinars. Core Engine and Hosting
We have relationships with subcontractors and service providers who assist us in providing Early Childhood Investigations Webinars service including the core engine, webinar hosting, hosting servers, system maintenance and enhancement. These contractors act on our behalf and are contractually required to maintain the confidentiality of the information we provide them. Early Childhood Investigations Webinars does not own the core platforms that power our webinars, distributes and hosts our emails. The core platform is maintained by an authorized subcontractor. In the event a problem arises with the core platform or our subcontractor ceases business operations, Early Childhood Investigations Webinars shall have no liability in connection with ervice interruptions or discontinuance of service.
International Use
If you are using Early Childhood Investigations Webinars from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States for processing and maintaining in accordance with this User Agreement and our Privacy Policy. You consent to the application of United States law in all matters concerning this site.
Indemnification
By accepting this User Agreement, you agree to indemnify and otherwise hold harmless Early Childhood Investigations and Engagement Strategies, LLC, its officers, managers, employees, agents, subsidiaries, affiliates and other partners from any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages resulting from your use of Early Childhood Investigations Webinars, unauthorized access to or alteration of your communications with or through Early Childhood Investigations Webinars, or any other matter relating to Early Childhood Investigations Webinars. Any interaction and communication that may arise between users from their use of Early Childhood Investigations Webinars are the sole responsibility of the users involved. ANY MATERIAL DOWNLOADED OR OTHERWISE OBTAINED THROUGH EARLY CHILDHOOD INVESTIGATIONS WEBINARS IS DONE AT YOUR OWN RISK AND YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE OR LOSS OF DATA THAT RESULTS FROM THE DOWNLOAD OF SUCH MATERIAL.
EARLY CHILDHOOD INVESTIGATIONS WEBINARS DOES NOT HAVE ANY OBLIGATION TO VERIFY THE IDENTITY OF THE USERS OF EARLY CHILDHOOD INVESTIGATIONS WEBINARS SITE; THEREFORE, EARLY CHILDHOOD INVESTIGATIONS WEBINARS DECLINES ALL LIABILITY FOR IDENTITY THEFT OR ANY OTHER MISUSE OF YOUR IDENTITY OR INFORMATION.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. ACCORDINGLY, SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
Limitation of Liability
You expressly understand and agree that Early Childhood Investigations Webinars and/or Engagement Strategies, LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to: damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses (even if Early Childhood Investigations Webinars has been advised of the possibility of such damages).
We reserve the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, Early Childhood Investigations Webinars and its services (or any part thereof). We shall not be liable to any user or other third party for any such modification, suspension or discontinuance except as expressly provided herein.
Because some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, our liability in such jurisdictions shall be limited to the extent permitted by law.
Governing Law and Arbitration
The User Agreement between you and Early Childhood Investigations Webinars will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute regarding Early Childhood Investigations Webinars shall be settled by arbitration in Rockville, Maryland in accordance with the rules for commercial arbitration of the American Arbitration Association in effect at the time such arbitration is initiated. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding upon all parties. The prevailing party shall be awarded all the filing fees and related administrative costs. Administrative and other costs of enforcing the arbitration award, including the costs of subpoenas, depositions, transcripts and the like, witness fees, payment of reasonable attorneys’ fees, and similar costs related to collecting an arbitrator’s award, will be added to, and become a part of, the amount due pursuant to this Agreement and/or the arbitrator’s award.
Entire Agreement
The User Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Early Childhood Investigations Webinars and governs your use of Early Childhood Investigations Webinars, superseding any prior agreements between you and Early Childhood Investigations Webinars. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to make periodic changes to the User Agreement that may include additions, changes, or deletions. You are responsible for checking the site to determine if changes have been made. We will include the date of the last revision at the beginning of the document. When you continue to use Early Childhood Investigations Webinars, you provide your continued acceptance of the User Agreement.
Communications
By registering for Early Childhood Investigations Webinars, you give your consent for Early Childhood Investigations Webinars to contact you via email to provide information regarding your use of Early Childhood Investigations Webinars. You agree to receive email notifications that are specific to your participation in webinars and necessary for the normal functioning of Early Childhood Investigations Webinars. You agree to have your name and/or email address listed in the header of notifications that you initiate through Early Childhood Investigations Webinars.
Upon registering for any webinar, Early Childhood Investigations Webinars invites registrants to opt-in to email. When you opt in to communications, you agree to receive email from Early Childhood Investigations, the Presenter, and the Sponsor of the sessions of the sessions you attend. You can unsubscribe from email from ECIW at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link, or change your subscription preferences by clicking on the “Manage Preferences” link at the bottom of every webinar. Management of communication subscriptions with sponsors and presenters is not the responsibility of ECIW. Early Childhood Investigations Webinars is not responsible for communications between you and any 3rd party.

Early Childhood Investigations Webinars.net name, logo and related identities are trademarks of Engagement Strategies, LLC. You agree not to display or use these trademarks in any manner without Early Childhood Investigations Webinars, LLC’s prior, written permission. You may not duplicate, copy, or reuse any portion of the HTML/CSS, Javascript, or visual design elements or concepts from Early Childhood Investigations Webinars without express written permission from Early Childhood Investigations Webinars.
