Dr. Amy Tiemann is an author, educator and advocate for equality through empowerment. Her training in developmental neuroscience research taught her the importance of creating healthy environments and ending sexual abuse, and other forms of child maltreatment and ACEs. As the co-author of the new book “Doing Right by Our Kids: Protecting Child Safety at All Levels,” she teaches powerful abuse-prevention tools with a wide audience—from families, to schools, and other youth-serving organizations. This new resource is built on a foundation of safety principles from Kidpower, and Dr. Tiemann is proud to serve as a Kidpower International Senior Leader.
