Ron Spreeuwenberg is a graduate of Harvard Business School, whose mission is to educate leaders who make a difference in the world. He is now on a mission to educate the current and future leaders of Early Childhood Education on the very topic of leadership – and there is no doubt about the difference that Early Childhood Educators are making in the world!
Ron is the host of a weekly podcast series, The Preschool Podcast, where he interviews current leaders, experts and specialists in Early Childhood Education so that they can pass down their inspiration and knowledge to future leaders of Early Childhood Education. Guests include leaders from Zero to Three, Child Care Aware of America, and Conscious Discipline, among many more across Canada, the U.S., U.K. and Australia. He is a regular contributor to the HiMama Blog that covers subject matter on leadership and advocacy, preschool activities and management tips for leaders in Early Childhood Education. Ron is also the author of the annual Child Care Benchmark Report that provides leaders in Early Childhood Education with data and insights on the child care sector and serves as a tool to measure performance of their organization relative to their peer group.
Ron is the Co-Founder & CEO of HiMama, a software company with a social purpose that enables child care, preschool, and early learning programs to realize educational and business leadership. Over half of HiMama’s team is made up of Early Childhood Educators, and annually, they present the Early Childhood Educator of the Year Award to showcase the amazing work of Early Childhood Professionals to the world and to recognize the passion and leadership of Early Childhood Professionals.
