Dr. Shelden is the Chair and Program Director of the Department of Physical Therapy at Wichita State University. She received her degrees in physical therapy and early childhood special education from the University of Oklahoma. M’Lisa is a graduate Fellow of the ZERO TO THREE National Center for Infants, Toddlers. She has worked in the field of early intervention for almost 30 years. She served as the Chair of the Teaming Strand for the most revision of the DEC Recommended Practices in Early Childhood/Early Childhood Special Education. She has coauthored several texts, including Physical Therapy under IDEA, Coaching Families and Colleagues in Early Childhood Intervention, as well as The Early Childhood Coaching Handbook, and The Early Intervention Teaming Handbook: The Primary Service Provider Approach.
