Dathan is the Director of the Family, Infant and Preschool Program (FIPP) in Morganton, North Carolina. He received his Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Oklahoma State University and his doctoral degree in child and family studies from Nova Southeastern University. He has served as an early intervention provider in Oklahoma as well as Assistant Director of the early intervention program for the Oklahoma State Department of Health, and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Science at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dathan served as a member of the teaming strand for the revision of the DEC Recommended Practices in Early Childhood/Early Childhood Special
Education.
