Julie Looper Coats, serves as Child Care Aware of America’s Director of Emergency Preparedness and Response, providing training and technical assistance focused on emergency and disaster preparedness, response, and recovery to child care resource and referral agencies and providers across the country. Julie’s background is in Public Health Preparedness, serving both at the local and national level at the Oklahoma City-County Health Department and the National Association of City and County Health Officials, respectively. She holds a Master’s Degree in Emergency and Disaster Management.
