Kristen Darling-Churchill (M.P.P.) is a Research Scientist with Child Trends’ education and early childhood teams. Currently Kristen specializes in qualitative research focused on: early childhood social and emotional development; early childhood developmental screening and assessments; positive child well-being indicator development, in school and community contexts; school climate; and school discipline policies. Ms. Darling-Churchill has previously worked in early childhood education program delivery and curriculum oversight as a Department of Defense training specialist, and also as a Family/Community Consultant supporting child and family service-system coordination and integration.
