Kathryn L. Roberts is an assistant professor of reading, language, and literature at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Her research, teaching, and professional development work focuses on family literacy, early literacy development, and young children's comprehension. In addition to many articles and book chapters, she has recently published (along with Gail Jordan and Nell Duke) a professional development series entitled Engaging Families in Children's Literacy Development: A Complete Workshop Series.
