Linda Brekken, Ph.D. has been involved in state and national professional development, policy, and advocacy efforts on behalf of young children with disabilities and their families for over 40 years. She was most recently the Disabilities Policy Analyst for the National Center for Quality Teaching and Learning, funded by the Office of Head Start. She developed and directed SpecialQuest (The Hilton/Early Head Start Training Program) from 1997 to 2012, promoting high quality, collaborative early childhood inclusive services and related professional development, including the award winning SpecialQuest Multimedia Training Library. She is a recipient of the DEC Service to the Field Award.
