Sarah Braaten, Ph.D.

Dr. Sarah Braaten is passionate about improving the quality of early childhood programs to best support families and foster healthy child development. She earned her PhD in human development and family studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2024. As a previous Early Childhood Educator and Early Head Start home visitor, Dr. Braaten has witnessed firsthand how transformative early care and education services can be for families. Dr. Braaten helps bring evidence-based research strategies into ECE practice to create meaningful change in the lives of children and their families.
