Bisa Lewis

Dr. Bisa Batten Lewis is a professor of Early Childhood Education in the Tift College of Education at Mercer University. She founded Ideal Early Learning, LLC and WINGS Curriculum, LLC and is an internationally-renowned author of articles, college textbooks, children's books, developmentally appropriate early childhood curriculum, handbooks and more. Dr. Bisa earned the Doctor of Education Degree in Adult Education at the University of Georgia and the Bachelor of Science and Master of Education Degrees in Early Childhood Education at Albany State University. Having presented at conferences throughout the United States and abroad, Dr. Bisa is a diversely experienced and highly respected ECE authority. She has supervised multiple child development centers and lab schools, educated learners at all academic levels, and lead programs from state license to national accreditation. Dr. Bisa's work with children, teachers, administrators, preschools, and school-age programs enables her to offer realistic methods of implementing quality early learning practices.
