This session is sponsored by E-Therapy.
Do you ever wish there was a miraculous way you could reach children who struggle with communication disorders? Or an innovative approach to expanding children’s social and emotional understanding? So often it is hard to get students who struggle with these issues to engage, interact, and express themselves fully. Because students get overstimulated, have trouble focusing, and difficulty communicating effectively, it is important to find ways to assist and support their ability to thrive in social situations. By using innovative digital methods, students with Autism have the flexibility they need, success in both direct and indirect interactions, and focus more attentively. Teletherapy is an exciting new way to reach children with Autism as it helps to engage, support, and expand their ability to connect and communicate more effectively.
In this powerful webinar you will learn how teletherapy directly benefits ECE students with Autism. The E-Therapy expert, Diana Parafiniuk, will discuss teletherapy, the issues young children with Autism face, and how technology/teletherapy activities help specialists enhance the communication skills of children with Autism. We will discuss the pro’s and con’s of working with children over the computer and the ethics and efficacy of teletherapy. This webinar will also provide tools and strategies for students with Autism that teachers can implement in their classroom.
