Obtaining certificates and CEUs for our webinars always required a lot of explanation, and was a little complicated. We’ve been working on ways to improve the experience and also make our certificates more aligned to the expectations of child care registries in he US and Canada. The new process will be easier, but we want to explain it in great detail to participants, registries, and licensing agencies so everyone is prepared before we launch. We are thrilled to announce these empowering enhancements in this webinar.
Starting mid-April, we will partner with Bertelsen Education. Bertelsen Education to process CEUs and Certificates. Bertelsen Education is an IACET accredited professional development organization that offers engaging self-paced online training nationwide. In addition to offering training for families and early educators, Bertelsen will issue your certificates with IACET-approved CEUs in one document. While our webinars will remain free, if you choose to receive a certificate/CEU, you will take a brief learning assessment and pay a $3 fee to Bertelsen. This change will allow you to earn credit toward degree programs and may improve the way your certificates are processed through your registry.
Join this webinar presented by our very own Fran Simon and Andrea Goggins, and Jill Bertelsen and Amanda Sant from Bertelsen Education, for this free webinar to learn about the benefits and logistical changes to the process of getting your certificates/CEUs. You will see in, real time, how to navigate the simple, time-saving steps to get official certificates of attendance and CEUs all at once. You will also hear about the benefits and (small) tradeoffs of the change to our processes. You will be able to test the process at the end of the webinar.
We hope to celebrate our partnership with Bertelsen Education with you!
