Michelle Salcedo has been in early childhood education for 30+ years, starting as a teacher’s helper in her younger brother’s center. She has worked as a teacher, a director, a trainer, and family educator in numerous settings across Michigan, South Carolina, and Spain. She has also worked in a leadership role in the Education Departments of two of the largest childcare companies in the United States. Currently, Michelle is a content developer for Quality Assist; designing interactive and engaging early childhood trainings for their eLearning platform Quorum.
Michelle is author of the book Uncovering the Roots of Challenging Behaviors. Ms. Salcedo has also authored various articles and training modules as well as traveled the country as a trainer and keynote speaker at conferences and early childhood events. She has an undergraduate degree in Developmental Psychology and a Master’s in Early Childhood Education.
