Jeremy Smith has worked for First Choice Services since 2015 and serves as the Program Director for its ACA Navigator programs in New Hampshire, Iowa, Montana, and West Virginia. He and his program specialize in assisting people in learning about and enrolling in insurance options created under the Affordable Care Act, including plans on the Health Insurance Marketplace, Expanded Medicaid, and CHIP for kids. He also spends time raising awareness on public projects through community outreach and media. Over the past six years, Jeremy has done over 500 media interviews and public speaking engagements on topics that include public health, expanded ACA health insurance options, substance abuse issues and gambling addiction. He currently serves as adjunct faculty with the political science department at Marshall University, which involves teaching a large percentage of adult, nontraditional students from a rural area. Jeremy received his Master of Arts degree in political science and Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Marshall University.
