Dr. Alice Sterling Honig is Professor Emerita of Child Development at Syracuse University, where for nearly 40 summers she directed QIC annually – the one-week Quality Infant/Toddler Caregiving Workshop. Dr. Honig has authored over 600 articles and chapters and published more than two dozen books. She has been an invited presenter in many different countries,including England, China, Germany, Korea, Israel, Singapore , and Canada. As a licensed psychologist in New York State, she provides therapy for those with troubles. For a decade, she served as Program Director (Dr. Lally was Project Director) for care providers in the Syracuse Family Development Research Program. This omnibus program served teen moms and their children from before birth until 5 years, with quality childcare and home visitation.
